N.B.: considered a senior synonym of Aepycephalus Ausserer, 1871a: 150 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:05048] (type A. brevidens Doleschall, 1871 = Cteniza sauvagesi (Rossi, 1788)) by Wunderlich, 1995a: 358; synonmy of Sterrhochrotus Simon, 1892 (considered by Raven, 1985a: 159) rejected by Decae et al., 2019: 519 by transfer of the type species, see Ummidia Thorell, 1875.
