Cameron, in litt.); placed in Calommatidae Thorell, 1887 by Ono, 2009a: 86; considered a senior synonym of Pelecodon Doleschall, 1859: 5 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:05954] (type P. sundaicus Doleschall, 1859) by Thorell, 1890a: 416 and of Camptotarsus Thorell, 1887: 23 [urn:lsid:nmbe.ch:spidergen:05955] (type C. truculentus Thorell, 1887) by Simon, 1892a: 199.
